Hundreds of youth for agri. Almost a thousand students were introduced to the prospects in agriculture in an information caravan for youth held in Legazpi City, Albay, March 7. With the theme, “Kabataan sa Agrikultura, Para sa Bayang Masagana,” it created youth awareness on new farming technologies and government agricultural programs, and encouraged them to pursue careers in agriculture. PhilRice in Ligao City, Albay and the Regional Field Unit of the Department of Agriculture in Region V conducted the caravan.
