QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting
Experience : 1 year of relevant experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Act as Budget Officer for Special Project transactions which includes but not limited to review, approval and management of funds.  Preparation of all budget reports;

2. Act as Accountant for Special Project transactions which includes but not limited to review and certification of Box C of DV as to the completeness of supporting documents. To certify as to funds availability in the contract;

3. Perform JEV approval / recording of transactions.  Analyze and prepare the necessary reports and/or financial statements /Liquidation reports for submission to COA or any government agencies. Consolidate all financial statements of stations for Special Project transactions;

4. Ensure that all documents are submitted to COA on time;

5. Comply with the IMS Policy, Procedures, Programs and Projects of PhilRice.

6. Perform other related tasks from time to time.

3. Recommends improvements in the systems and procedures on warehouse management;

4. Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining and organized layout and safe work environment;

5. Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating condition;

6. Responsible for the monthly preparation of reports or as necessary;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Generate proposals for research and development studies under the national rice research and development program within his/her area of specialization and project assignment;

2. Generate reports and other papers for studies under his/her area of specialization and project assignment;

3. Generate systems and procedures for the efficient and effective implementation of projects/studies within his/her area of specialization and project assignment;

4. Handle the direct implementation, including analysis and interpretation of laboratory and field results, of at least one (1) project under his/her project assignment;

5. Participate in the interdisciplinary evaluation of on-going and completed R&D projects in his/her project assignment;

6. Provide technical assistance to research teams of other agencies, and

7. Comply with the IMS Policy, Procedures, Programs and Projects of PhilRice.
