Philippine Rice Research Institute in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija recognized the contributions of women in rice farming.

Start them young. The Rice Science Museum of the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) recently opened its new exhibition, titled, Wonderful World of Rice, in an attempt to engage the youth as agriculture advocates.

With the women actively involved in majority of agricultural work, PhilRice is showcasing farm equipment for women in an exhibit.

The Rice Science Museum established in this city is honoring the women rice workers.

Kara Patria C. David, The Outstanding Women in the Nation`s Service awardee for Broadcast Journalism in 2010, marked the Women’s Month celebration.
