The Gender and Development Focal Point System and key officials of Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) are set to improve its Level 2 standing in the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework after its recent audit on gender. Facilitated by Arlene I. Pascual, Philippine Commission on Women resource pool for Region III (5th from right) on Jan. 15-16, the workshop focused on gender planning and budgeting. The participants also learned how to establish a Committee on Decorum and Investigation for sexual harassment cases, analyze sex disaggregated data for policy making, and use gender fare language in all documents.
