seminar2PhilRice’s Jaime A. Manalo IV delivered the talk on “Complexities in and tips on climate change communication”, 12 May at PhilRice’s Headquarters in Nueva Ecija.

Jaime discussed common issues on CCC, and how these can be resolved. The talk put together insights from an extensive literature review conducted by Jaime’s team and their more than three years of work on climate change integration in the curriculum of secondary high schools with CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security.

Among the highlights of the presentation are the nine major tips on CCC in agriculture. Jaime said the tips are aimed at helping better communicate CC to farmers and other major stakeholders in the agriculture sector.

The seminar was under a project funded by the DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research. The team members were Anna Marie F. Bautista, Jayson C. Berto, Rommel T. Hallares, and Jennifer D. Villaflor.
