Agusan celebrates 29 fruitful years

With the theme, “Paving our way to 30,” PhilRice Agusan celebrated its 29^th anniversary, Aug. 8, through thanksgiving ceremony and seminar on HIV, schistosomiasis, and mental health conducted by the Department of Health in Caraga. Outstanding employees were also recognized.

Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) is a government corporate entity attached to the Department of Agriculture created through Executive Order 1061 on 5 November 1985 (as amended) to help develop high-yielding and cost-reducing technologies so farmers can produce enough rice for all Filipinos.
