Twenty-eight farmer-leaders and agricultural technologists in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur recently completed the Short Course Training on Pest and Nutrient Management under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Services Program. The participants hurdled the 5-day intensive training facilitated by the PhilRice Batac RCEF Training Management Team in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Tagudin. The training focused on identifying and diagnosing pests and diseases, and nutrient deficiency.
