About us
The PhilRice Library is a special library dedicated to the collection, organization, maintenance, storage and retrieval of Filipiniana rice literature. It is also the depository of PhilRice publications. Our Library renders services benefiting the Filipino rice scientists, researchers, educators, students, extension workers, farmers and other stakeholders

- Basically rice literature & related subjects, agriculture, and government publications.
- Uses Library of Congress Classification.
- Serves PhilRice staff, trainees, students, and personnel of Muñoz Science Community.
- Depository library of International Water Management Institute (IWMI) publications.
- Member of Philippine E-Lib Project and PhilAgrInet
- Located at 2nd Floor of PhilRice CES Main Building
Access to PhilRice Library
- Reading room - (20-seat capacity) open to all
- Stacks - open to PhilRice staff, official visitors & trainees
- Loans - PhilRice staff passing through clearance procedure
- Room reading - non-PhilRice staff
Library Hours
- The Library is open from 8:00-12 P. M. and 1:00-5:30 P. M. from Monday to Friday.
