Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) in Midsayap, North Cotabato trains 28 SOCCSKSARGEN extensionists on the latest in rice farming technology, including the PalayCheck System and Palayamanan Plus. The two-day course, held on June 10-11 in Tantangan, South Cotabato, aimed to enhance the specialists’ skills in supporting local rice farmers with updated scientific knowledge. The extensionists also developed actionable plans to improve rice farming practices and will now disseminate these across municipalities in the region.
