Worthy exchanges. Honorable H.M. G.R. R. K. Wijeratne Mendis, deputy chief of Mission, Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is considering collaborations with PhilRice and reputable Sri Lanka universities and exchange of experts during her visit at the country`s lead agency in rice research and development, March 21.
The ambassador visited the main laboratory building, Rice Engineering and Mechanization Division, and technology demonstration areas. She also learned about PhilRice programs.
