Members of the Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (RAED) throughout the country were recently trained on the operation and maintenance of PhilRice’s postproduction machines, which include combine harvester and reversible air flatbed dryer, at PhilRice Central Experiment Station in the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

Conducted to improve the engineers’ knowledge on postharvest technologies, the training was a collaborative activity between DA-PhilRice and Kubota Agro-Industrial Machinery Philippines, Inc, a private company that manufactures tractors and heavy equipment for farm and industrial use.
