Dae Hyuk Lee, a 20-year old student of the University of Asia and Pacific in Makati City, expresses his love for rice in a ‘fansign’ entry for the National Rice Awareness Month Celebration, November last year. Out of 70 entries nationwide, his entry got the most numbered of votes during its casting at the Music Hall, SM MOA, Pasay City where the exhibit of ‘fansign’ entries was held.

When Lee learned about the contest from his professor, he immediately thought of a concept that best suited his personality.
