Barangay Maligaya joined DA-PhilRice in welcoming the holiday season with carols, food trip, and fireworks during the tower lighting ceremony, December 2.

DA-PhilRice employees also enjoyed the Christmas lantern parade showcasing colorful  lanterns made from recycled materials.

"This yearly tower lighting event marks the beginning of the season of love, sharing and giving," DA-PhilRice Executive Director Ronilo A. Beronio said. He also said these values should also be observed not just during the holiday season, but all throughout the year.
