Average user rating0.0out of 5 Before the establishment of the Location Specific Technology Demonstration (LSTD) program of DA-PhilRice, famers in some areas of Bohol island, lack understanding on the importance of soil analysis in rice production. Now, farmers learned the Minus-one Element Technique (MOET)– a cost-effective and simple technology used to visibly analyze the soil’s nutrient deficiency, introduced to them by rice sufficiency officers. The LSTD program aims to tailor-fit sustainable rice production technologies to the different rice farming areas around the country. For more information about the LSTD program, contact the Office of the Deputy Executive Director for Development of DA-PhilRice at Maligaya, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija at (044) 456-0285 loc 500. You can also text the Farmers’ text Center 0920-911-1398.
